In the upcoming 2011 Spring Session, the Korean Language Education Center (KLEC) newly opened a class entitled (SNU) Special Evening Class. This course is for professors, researchers and graduate students of Seoul National University as well as their family members with no knowledge of Korean language who would like to acquire the communication skills necessary for everyday life.
The course comprises three academic terms (Spring, Summer and Fall) a year with 10-week classes.
Anyone who are interested in this class should read the following important information:

Ⅱ. Application
1) Eligibility
① high school diploma or equivalent
② SNU professors, researchers and graduate students as well as their family members
※ This course is not eligible for visa application.
2) Application documents
① Online application
Please visit the LEI website (http://lei.snu.ac.kr) and complete the “Online Application.”
※ Application must be done online only.
② Official certificate of SNU employment or enrollment
③ Official proof of family relations
(Family members of SNU professors, researchers and graduate students must submit this document)
※ All application documents should be attached online.
3) How to apply
Applicants should apply online at the menu of Evening Class under Special Programs after signing up for the LEI website.
All the application documents should be scanned and attached during online application.
* Applicants do not have to make a payment on the application fee of 15,000 KRW.
